Day 6 – Monday June 24

Written Project 1 Is Due Tonight!

Cover first half of Chapter 5 – Sections 5.1 through 5.3. There is nothing in these sections that can be done directly with StatCrunch.

Section 5.1

Print out the Pointers and the Guided Notebook for this section.
Make your way through Interactive Reading Assignment (IRA) for this section. You must score 70% or higher in order to have access to the HW assignment for this section.
Do the homework assignment for this section.

Sections 5.2 – 5.3

Repeat the same process for each section.

Project Update

After you finish the first three sections of this chapter you should be able to answer problems 2, 3, and 4 on Written Project 2.

Day 7 – Tuesday June 25

Finish Covering Chapter 5 – Sections 5.4 and 5.5. (We skip Section 5.6) There are two calculations from Section 5.5 (permutations and combinations) that can be done using StatCrunch.

Project Update

Day 8 – Wednesday June 26

Cover Chapter 6 – Sections 6.1 – 6.3. Be sure that you learn how to use StatCrunch to perform all of the calculations in this chapter.
