Statistics - Then & Now
CMC3 (Monterey, CA) - December 2018
Sharing thoughts on creating a modern statistics course to help students develop true understanding. Shift the focus from computation to interpretation. Use simulations, bootstrapping, and randomization to incorporate an "Early and Often" inferential approach. Also shared some thoughts on helping new instructors to prepare to teach Intro Stats for the first time.
